The term “Big Data” often sounds scary and intimidating, as it seems to be related to very technical information. It has nothing to do with super advanced technologies or computers. But here is a consolation. “Big Data” is only a buzz word based on its relative measure.So I am going to try and break it down for you to understand easily.

What is Data?
Generally, data is facts and statistics collected together for reference or analysis. Technically, data is the information that operations are performed by a computer being stored and transmitted in the form of electrical signals and stored on media.
Philosophically, which is the most important of all, data is for us to make more accurate and precise decisions.
However, sometimes an overload of data can make us even more confused as different data may show us a different indication that leads to different decisions.
Hence, it is important for us to learn data processing, data science, and all related analytical skills in order for us to make more accurate decisions.
Types of Data
1 – Qualitative Data
Based on descriptive data that is usually not in numerical form. Mostly come from interviews or recordings. For example: You are a smart boy.
2. Quantitative Data
Based on measurable and numerical descriptions. Data that can be tabulated and inserted into a database. For example : Your IQ level is of a number of such and such.
